John Fogerty is going to “Keep on Chooglin'” in 2026.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer just shared that he’s extended his ongoing ‘The Legacy Tour’ with his backing band Hearty Har — which includes his sons Shane and Tyler Fogerty — and special guest/former Traffic frontman Steve Winwood.
Come fall, the legendary pair will hit amphitheaters, performing arts centers, music sheds, pavilions, casinos and more as part of their brief 13-concert outing.
Tri-staters are in luck, too.
Fogerty and Winwood have not one, not two, not three, not four but five (!) New York, New Jersey and Connecticut gigs lined up. They’re scheduled to take place at:

Prior to the brief co-headlining run, the 80-year-old Fogerty has a number of spring West Coast gigs lined up as well from March through June.
As for what to expect at the shows, the once Creedence Clearwater Revival vocalist typically revs up fan favorites from his CCR days. Based on our findings at Set List FM, you can expect “Fortunate Son,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Proud Mary,” “Who’ll Stop The Rain” and, of course the timeless, swampy “Keep On Chooglin.”
An interesting wrinkle, though, is that the Creedence songs are slightly different than what the band originally released over a half-century ago, when Fogerty re-recorded them all for his “Legacy: The Creedence Clearwater Revival Years” album after a 50-year legal dispute.
“[He] may have turned 80 this year, but you wouldn’t know by his still-powerful voice, his energetic command of the stage, and his blazing guitar riffs,” American Songwriter wrote in a review of a November 2025 Fogerty concert.
“…John had no problem keeping up with his backing band, who all appear to be less than half his age. The group features sons Shane and Tyler, who both sang backing vocals and played guitar.”

The fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has quite an impressive resume himself.
In addition to fronting the jangly outfit Traffic — which brought the world “Dear Mr. Fantasy” and “The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys” among others — the 77-year-old singer and multi-instrumentalist also provided his vocals to Blind Faith and The Spencer Davis Group before striking out on a successful solo, hit-making career of his own.

For the uninitiated, Hearty Har is a a rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 2012. Led by brothers Shane (guitar/vocals) and Tyler Fogerty (guitar/vocals), the group has a snaky, funky, fuzzed-out sound that will have you boogie-ing in no time.
Think The Black Keys’ groovy bass lines with a little Booker T. and the MGs thrown in for good measure.
We can’t get enough of their disco-fried rocker “Can’t Keep Waiting” and shockingly spooky “Scream and Shout!”
